ROO Group, Inc., an Internet video broadcasting technology company, announced today the launch of its new wireless Web site for users of Microsoft's Windows Mobile operating systems.
ROOmobile.com provides access to a wide variety of video content -- just like watching television -- including breaking news, entertainment stories, fashion shows, movie trailers and sports videos -- all viewable on Windows Mobile powered devices.
Users connect their mobile device to the Internet, go to www.roomobile.com and select videos from 7 different content categories including news, business, fashion, music, movies, and others.
"ROO already serves millions of video streams a month across its Internet video portal network, so broadcasting to the burgeoning wireless mobile market is a natural extension of our core business -- digital broadcasting," said ROO group chairman and CEO Robert Petty in a press release.
ROOmobile.com is a syndicatable service supported by advertising.
