MobiTV Expands Into The Midwest

Idetic Inc. on Monday launched its television service for the wireless phone in three Midwestern states.
The MobiTV service is now available through Midwest Wireless subscribers in Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin for $8.59 a month, officials with Berkeley, Calif.-based, Idetic said. The service is available on two phones, the LG VX 6000 and the Audiovox 8900.
The MobiTV services distributes TV news and entertainment programs from more than 20 channels, including MSNBC, ABC News Now, NBC Mobile, FOX Sports, Discovery, The Learning Channel and C-Span.
